The Monday game between the Devils and the Oilers was a historic game for New Brunswick sports. Jake Allen was in net for the Devils and Calvin Pickard was in for the Oilers. Here is the highlight reel:
With some help from Evan Bouchard, Pickard made 13 out 16 possible saves but could not match Allen who survived nearly double the shots on net with a shutout. Still a fantastic game and great performances from two great New Brunswick goalies, It is likely the first and only time there have been two New Brunswick goalies in either net during an NHL Game.
