Biography

He was born in Saint John, got his introduction to the sport of shooting in Moncton, and moved to Fredericton in 1981. From that first competition at 13 years of age until the present time, he has served the sport of shooting as an athlete, instructor, administrator, clinician, meet organizer, judge, author, and head coach of Provincial and National teams.The settings have ranged from his hometown clubs to those at World, Commonwealth, Continental, Pan-American, National, Paralympics and Olympic Games.He is the first person from New Brunswick ever to be appointed as head coach of a Canadian Olympic team in any sport! His commitment to his sport - for boys and girls, for men and women, for the able and disabled, has been recognized and applauded throughout Canada and around the world. Enrolled in the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, June 6th, 1998.
