Meet Our Staff!
Jamie Wolverton, originally from Centreville, NB and now calls Fredericton home, joined the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame as Executive Director in January 2009. Jamie holds an undergraduate degree from UNB’s Faculty of Kinesiology with a specialization in Recreation Management and has over 24 years of professional experience in leading Recreation & Sport community based not-for-profits. Jamie is an avid marathon runner and a proud practitioner of active living.
Communications & Operations Officer
James Matthews of Fredericton, NB brings with him extensive experience in non-profit organizations in the area of fund development growth and has a proven track record of building marketing, communications and brand awareness in the media sector. Having attended Cape Breton University in the area of Community Studies, and as a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto, he has a unique insight into the many benefits of building partnerships that increase engagement with those in the community.
Curator and Outreach Officer
Melynda Jarratt originally from Bathurst, NB has been with NBSHF since September 2012. She has a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, and a Masters Degree in History as well as a Diploma in Digital Media and Design. She has worked for 26 years in the field of arts, heritage and culture, with specific attention to Canadian social history of the 20th century.
